Participate in a Fundraiser

Parent Forum
The TJCA Parent Teacher Forum operates similar to a traditional parent teacher organization(PTO). The forum raises funds annually through the “Ten for Thom” campaign. All funds raised by the forum go directly to help cover the cost of programs, equipment and special projects that are not covered in the annual school budget. Some examples of prior purchases made are whiteboard and document imaging technology for classrooms, database subscriptions for access to university research libraries, and play-ground equipment for the grammar school.

The Ten for Thom September Campaign is a yearly fundraiser. Download the campaign form below and turn it in with your donation to your homeroom or classroom teacher by September 30th. The 2 classes with the highest percentage participation (1 from the Grammar and 1 from the Upper) will earn free ICEES!

Burgundy and Gold Scholarship
The Burgundy and Gold Scholarship Fund was established in 2012 to provide financial assistance to TJCA CFA students who plan to further their education at the college level. The mission is to help students achieve their career goals and encourage personal and academic fulfillment. The Burgundy and Gold Scholarship Committee is actively soliciting donations to this fund. For more information regarding the Burgundy and Gold scholarship fund or to donate, please click this link.

We are excited to announce that we have given over $113,000 in scholarships to our TJCA seniors since 2012, and have increased the number of scholarships from 2 up to 8. We are very grateful for our TJCA community support, which makes these scholarships possible. Please consider donating today.

TJCA Community Education Foundation
The Thomas Jefferson Community Education Foundation(TJCEF) was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization as the supporting organization for TJCA-CFA which holds ownership of the real properties of the academy. TJCEF is joint holder of the outstanding debt from our recent $10 million bond issuance, which enabled us to complete the purchase of our new 57,000 square foot grammar school, to consolidate remaining debt from our high school, and pay off our stadium facility. TJCEF is tasked with identifying major donors nationwide to help us pay down our building debts as quickly as possible. A key local component of the TJCEF effort is the Jefferson Legacy Foundation, which gives our families and friends the opportunity to dedicate classrooms and windows in honor or in memory of loved ones. The Jefferson Legacy Fund2012.pdf (109.8 KB)
