March 23-27

Good evening, and I hope I find you all rested and settling in to this new way of working. Text me, email me, let me know if you need help. We will be having a second book dispersal soon. You’ll turn in your Little Women book and get a copy of Tom Sawyer, along with more work from Ms. Hamrick.

This week we’ll be finishing Little Women, the Civil War, and Unit 5 in the grammar book. In Little Women, you’ll need to read chapters 20-23, pages 212-250. If you are reading a chapter a night, you should be finished on Thursday. I encourage you to review the questions on pages 218 and 240. You don’t need to turn them in, but reading the question out loud and telling someone the answer will help you ensure that you are clear about the answer. I’ll post the test on Thursday night in Google Classroom. You can study for the test here: https://quizlet.com/_88fb9a?x=1qqt&i=j2blw. I’d advise you not to watch any of the many Little Women movies until after you’ve taken the test, as they take liberties with the text.
